Ten counties are served by the Mni Wiconi including Stanley, Haakon, Lyman, Jones, Jackson, Mellette, Pennington, Todd, Bennett and Oglala Lakota. The Mni Wiconi is the largest Native American/Tribal Water System in the country with a service area of 12-thousand square miles which is one-sixth of South Dakota’s total area.
