Pierre Trappers Fall at Home to Sioux Falls

The Pierre Trappers fell once again, this time at home to the Sioux Falls Sunfish as the losing streak has hit seven, with a 13-5 loss.

The Pitching staff allowed 11 walks in the ballgame but starter, Fischer Rausch, held down the Sunfish through the first four innings down just 1-0. He was tagged with three earned runs after his five inning outing but would pick up the loss on the mound as Pierre was never able to tie the ballgame up or take the lead. Joseph Bramanti hit his second home run of the season and drove in three runs for the Trappers who will look to put an end to the streak on Thursday.

First pitch for the Trappers and Sunfish is scheduled for 7:05 at Hyde Stadium. The Trappers will hit the road to Minot, North Dakota for a weekend series starting on Friday.
