PIERRE — The Pierre School Board is meeting tonight at the District Administration Building. The Board will consider approval of the agenda and of a eight-item consent calendar before hearing comments from Superintendent Dr. Kelly Glodt followed by Board member and any public comments. Board members will give final reading and take action on changes to the Middle School Handbook and give first reading to changes to the High School Handbook and Athletic Handbook. Troy Wiebe will present the Special Education Comprehensive plan to Board members along with holding an election for the High School Activities Association Board of Directors. Votes from the recent School Board election will be canvassed and first reading will be given to a job description for a new title in the District. The Board will consider refuse and recycling bids, insurance and worker’s comp renewals, budget amendments, open enrollments, resignations and contract items. The Pierre School Board meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
