PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider approval of a five-item consent calendar before moving to unfinished business. A public hearing will be held for a temporary liquor and malt beverage license request filed for Oahe Days along with a request of needs for the Oahe Days events including use of the amphitheater, gravel area west of the American Legion, street closures, a carnival license and more. New business includes a change order on the B Street project and a change order for the city hall server room project. The Commission will consider a request to bid a runway project and give first reading to a temporary ordinance on medical marijuana establishments. Commissioners will also consider giving first reading to business licensing ordinances and general licensing ordinances to add violations. The Commission will also consider a Missouri River Energy Services Board update. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm. The meeting is open to the community.
