Pierre Post 8 split with Renner and Rapid City Post 22 on Tuesday in the opening games of the season as the Eights remain at home facing the Brookings Bandits on Thursday for a doubleheader.
Brookings is coming in playing its first games of the 2021 season and the roster will be similar to what Pierre saw in the high school season after sweeping them in a doubleheader back in late April. Post 8, at 1-1, will be looking for a better defensive output in the doubleheader after committing five errors in the two games on Tuesday.
