The Pierre Governor golf team received another solid outing from Haley Nadeau as she placed tied for fifth individually at the ESD meet in Mitchell as the Governors were sixth as a team.
Nadeau shot an 11 over par 83 which was just two shots behind third place. Madilyn Brakke finished tied for 17th place with a 91 while Hadley Hart had a 95 and Ellie Jo Simpson finished with a 96. Pierre finished a plu-77, six shots from a fifth place finish and nine behind Huron for fourth. Mitchell won the team ESD championship shooting a plus 49 but Reese Jansa of Harrisburg finished one under par for the individual ESD championship.
Pierre will now get ready for the state competition which will begin on Monday June 7 and run to June 8 in Sioux Falls.
