Harrold Man Involved In Friday Morning Rollover On Highway 14 East Of Pierre

PIERRE — A rollover crash on U-S Highway 14 closed the highway for a brief time Friday morning. Department of Public Safety spokesman Tony Mangan says a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer was traveling east on Highway 14 around 10:40 AM when the vehicle crossed the center-line then drove off the road and into a nearby field. The highway was closed for around 10, completely for five and down to one line for another five minutes. The crash happened eight miles east of Pierre. The Trailblazer driver, 54 year-old Raymond Reding of Harrold was transported to Avera St. Mary’s hospital in Pierre for treatment of minor injuries. Charges are pending in the crash. Reding was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
