Briggs has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Minnesota and is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. She has 20 years of experience with non-profits, government and philanthropy efforts and is current a Grantmaking Director with the Bush Foundation focusing on Native American Communities.
