PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. The Commission will host a joint city and county meeting to consider a joint plat in the Shamrock Commercial addition before considering approval of a 10-item consent calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the May 11th meeting, a wage adjustment, five new hires or volunteers, a raffle request, additional duties pay, the claims and setting a public hearing for a malt beverage and wine license transfer. Commissioners will consider awarding a bid for the Airport Road reconstruction project and give second reading to a 2021 budget supplement carryover from 2020. A public hearing is set for 5:45 PM to consider a special assessment project to extend Black Hills Drive and Commissioners will consider a request to surplus city property and 2021-2022 malt beverage license renewals. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 P.M.
