PIERRE — Governor Kristi Noem has added her name and ink to a long line of elected officials hoping the United States Department of Transportation will rebid the Essential Air Service contract for air service to Pierre and Watertown. Noem’s letter further states that the change could reduce economic development in Pierre and Watertown, putting jobs, small business and growth in the cities and surrounding regions at risk.
