Hoping to avoid any rain, the Pierre Governor track and field team will be in Aberdeen on Saturday for its lone event of the week.
The Governors will return home on Tuesday for the Capitol City Qualifier. The Govs are looking for a strong performance in Aberdeen because the Eastern South Dakota Conference meet will be right back in Aberdeen next Saturday, May 15.
The Govs will be just one of five teams at Swisher Field in Aberdeen on Saturday.
