The Pierre Governor golf team on Thursday traveled to Huron for the first of two invites on back-to-back days. Pierre finished in seventh place in the invite out of the eight full teams.
Ellie Jo Simpson had the best day for the Governors shooting a 93 while Hadley Hart and Madilyn Brakke shot a 95 and 97. Haley Nadeau would round out the top four for Pierre with 100 on the day. As a team, Pierre shot a 385, while O’Gorman won the day with a 320 overall. Reese Jansa of Harrisburg, won the invite individually with a 70 on the day.
