It was a wet and soppy Tuesday at the Golf Course for the Pierre Governors, competing in its lone home invite of the season. As a team the Governors finished in seventh at 97 over par.
For the Govs, Andrea Mosteller had the best day as she shot a 21 over par, 92, which was 15th place. Ellie Jo Simpson finished a stroke behind her at 93 which was tied for the 16th spot. Madilyn Brakke was 21st and Haley Nadeau was 25th at 97 and 99 respectively. Bryn Huber of Huron, finished the day in first place at five over, 76. She won the event by three strokes. As a team, Mitchell had the best finish at 51 over par, 16 shots better than Aberdeen Central.
Next up for the Governors, they are quickly back on the course, this time in Aberdeen on Thursday with a tee time of 10:00. The Govs will also be in Parkston on Friday.
