While the rain is much needed, Tuesday’s rainfall didn’t allow the Pierre Governor Tennis team to compete in its triangular against Huron and Spearfish.
Both Pierre and Huron were hoping to wait out the rain as they were unable to get started at the original start time of 11:00. However, the rain didn’t let up and there was no chance for the teams to play resulting in the cancelation of the day.
The Governors next action will be on Monday in Mitchell for a Quad facing Mitchell, Yankton and Vermillion. The Quad is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Monday. Pierre will host the Pierre Invitational Tournament next weekend beginning on Thursday.
