After picking up two wins last Thursday over Milbank and Brookings, the Pierre Governor Tennis team is back at home for a triangular as they face Huron and Spearfish.
The Governors are back at .500 in duals at 5-5 after the two wins last week and will get a chance to avenge one of the dual losses against the Huron Tigers. Pierre lost 7-2 to Huron back on April 10 as it will be the first time the Governors are competing against a team again this year. Head Coach of the Pierre Governors, Steve Steele says it’s a goal to get better against the teams they’ll see again before the end of the season…
After winning 17 of 18 matches last week, Steele says it’s a huge momentum boost…
And Steele says the Governors have to keep playing well…
The triangular is set to begin at 11:00 on Tuesday at Griffin Park in Pierre.
