PIERRE — A Pierre man was arrested early Saturday on multiple charges connected to a traffic stop. Pierre Police Captain Bryan Walz says 37 year-old Aadam Tiger was pulled over for speeding on East Park Street in Pierre around 12:45 AM. As officers made contact with Tiger, Tiger identified himself as another person in what police believe was an attempt by Tiger to conceal his identity due to an active warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, officers noticed possible signs of impairment with Tiger. As police investigated further, they determined Tiger was operating the vehicle pulled over for speeding while under the influence. Police also found drugs in Tiger’s possession. Tiger was taken to the Hughes County Jail on charges including Driving on a Suspended License, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Third Offense D-U-I, Ingestion of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, False Impersonation to Deceive Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana and Ingestion of a Controlled Substance as a Felony.
