Pierre Tennis Host Aberdeen Central

The Pierre Governor Tennis Team is enjoying a lot of home dates for the 2021 season and on Thursday they get to stay at home as they host Aberdeen Central in a lone dual.

The Governors, after splitting with Sioux Falls Christian and Harrisburg on the road, have a team record of 3-4 in duals with most guys sitting around the .500 mark in their seven matches in both singles and doubles. Luke Leingang is having the best start for the Govs at 6-1 in Singles Flight 3 while also going 4-3 in Doubles Flight 2. Head Coach of the Pierre Governor tennis team, Steve Steele says Leingang is just as good as the top guys…

Steele says after the first seven matches of the year, he knows guys probably want some of the losses back but not to be discouraged…

Steele says the dual is a good test because Aberdeen Central is similar to Pierre…

The Govs and Golden Eagles are set to begin the dual at 12:00 on Thursday. Pierre will then be off until traveling to Brookings next Thursday.
