Thursday was supposed to mark the first day the Pierre Governor Golf team was going to tee off since the 2019 state tournament. However, the invite in Harrisburg was canceled. Instead the Governors will now open its season next week Thursday in Rapid City, weather pending.
Riverfront Broadcasting Sports will hear from Head Coach Chris Swiden next week. Swiden was originally hired as the new golf coach for the spring of 2020, but this will officially be his first year with the girls golf program.
