PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. In special business, a proclamation will be made recognizing National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week before Commissioners consider approval of an eight item Consent Calendar. The calendar includes minutes from the April 6th meeting, two employee adjustments and new hires in the Electric, Park, Cemetery and Solid Waste Departments along with the claims. Commissioners will award a bid for construction of the B Street project and will consider a master services agreement with KLJ. The Commission will consider approval of a task order for rehabilitation of a runway at Pierre Regional Airport and will get an update on the Go Green and Clean campaign along with consideration of a Park Board recommendation on Pickleball and first reading of ordinance revisions to firework ordinances in Pierre. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 pm.
