Lincoln Kienholz and Aleise Christipherson are this week’s PACA Athletes of the Week. Here’s the nominations for both athletes.
Lincoln Kienholz (Baseball): The Governors won 4 games over the first weekend of the season with the help of Kienholz’s bat. Kienholz led off the season with a triple and never looked back the entire 4 game stretch. On the weekend, he was 11 for 16 with 2 doubles, 5 triples, 5 RBIs, 5 stolen bases, and 14 runs scored out of the leadoff position. In one weekend, he put himself in the top 3 in the record books for triples in a season and career in the Pierre Governors Baseball history on the opening weekend of the 2021 season.
Aleise Christipherson (Track & Field): Aleise was the ESD indoor champion in the long jump with a jump of 15’ 11.5” and finished 8th in the 200M dash with a time of 28.68 seconds. Aleise’s jump puts her on the Govs Top 10 all-time list at 8th. She is off to a great start to her high school track career and with her work ethic will continue to grow.
