After two separate cancelations, one from the high winds and the other from rain, the Stanley County Buffaloes are set to begin the Track and Field season. Today, the Buffs will be in Mobridge for the Mobridge-Pollock Early Bird Meet.
It’s been frustrating for the Buffaloes as they’ve seen their first meet pushed back twice after not having a season in 2020 but after a week and half of waiting and more practice, Stanley County will finally get to be outside competing. The Buffaloes will be one of 14 teams competing in Mobridge as Mobridge-Pollock, Cheyenne Eagle Butte and Crow Creek will join the Buffs from Region 6A.
The field events begin at 12:00 with the track events to start at 1:30 at Mobridge High School.
