The 784 enplanements are up 217 passengers from February and up 116 boarding from March of 2020. For the year, enplanements are at 1820. Pierre has averaged 606 passengers per month. At the current average, Pierre could see 7280 enplanements by December 31st. Enplanements are expected to increase as pandemic restrictions loosen and more people become vaccinated against Covid-19. The City of Pierre still has not received word about an extension of its Essential Air Service Contract. The current deal with SkyWest Airlines, doing business as United Express is scheduled to expire in three weeks.
