PIERRE — The Pierre City Commission is meeting tonight at the Pierre Municipal Building. A light agenda has the Commission considering the five item consent calendar and two items of new business. The consent calendar includes minutes from the March 23rd meeting and new hires for Emergency Services Communication and Parks Department along with raffle requests filed by Countryside Hospice, Pierre Junior Shooters and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation along with the claims. Commissioners will consider approval of a second change order on a project to improve air conditioning in the computer server room at city hall and to consider accepting a grant award for transportation alternatives. Commissioners will close out the meeting by presenting any dialogue they may have. The Pierre City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM.
