Friday night the Sully Buttes Chargers renew its rivalry with the Potter County Battlers in Onida in a girls and boys doubleheader.
The Charger boys are coming off a resounding win on Tuesday beating the Jones County Coyotes by 22 as they improved to 7-8 on the season. Now, facing a Potter County team having won four in a row are 10-3 on the season, the Chargers will have a tough task against its Region 2B rival. The Battlers are on top of the 2B standings. It’ll be the first time these two teams met since the SoDak 16 contest last March.
The Charger girls can get back to .500 on Friday with a win over the 3-9 Lady Battlers after falling by 15 to Jones County on Tuesday. Potter County has dropped four straight and will be looking to put an end to the streak tonight.
