The ESD Conference will grow once again in the coming years as Tea Area will join the Conference beginning in 2024.
In an announcement earlier this month, the Titans will be the 10th member in the conference as they will also join the AA ranks. The Titans will participate in the ESD for basketball, competitive cheer and dance, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. The move to AA also adds 20 teams to the class.
Tea will at first, be the smallest school in the ESD with it’s average daily membership at 443 this year. Huron is the next smallest at 625 and then Pierre at 649. The Titans have already been a part of 11AA for football the last seasons, making the state championship twice, but falling to the Pierre Governors in both games.
