Luke Olson and the Pierre Governors would win both the individual and team scores on Friday in Yankton as the Governors have its second team win of the season.
The Governors edged out O’Gorman by a single stroke for the team win as Pierre would shoot a 295 with OG at a 296. Luke Olson shot a 69 which was tied with Sioux Falls Lincoln’s Jack Hilgenberg for the win, but Olson would win the tiebreaker to be the individual winner for the day. Nick Bothun would finish inside the top ten tied for seventh at a 74. Sawyer Sonnenschein was 14th at a 75 while Lincoln Houska was 18th at 77. Jack Barlett, who didn’t factor into the team scoring still finished inside the top 30 at 28th with a 79. Charlie Simpson finished with a 97 to round out the six Governor golfers.
