Pierre Soccer Girls Comeback for Win, Boys Tie in Watertown

The Pierre Governor girls would score two second half goals to beat Watertown 2-1 as the boys would tie the Arrows at 1-1 on Tuesday on the road.

The Arrow girls would take a 1-0 lead into the second half over the Governors but it would be Pierre that would make the comeback and defeat the Arrows by scoring two goals and claim its fourth win of the season and second straight victory.

The Governor boys would end in a draw as both teams would score a goal and both tie for the first time this season. The Governors are now 3-2-1 on the season with the tie.

Pierre will host the Mitchell Kernels on the Thursday at home. The girls will play at 4:00 with the boys to follow at 6:00. Both games will be on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler and Mendel Miller on the call.
