FORT PIERRE — The Fort Pierre City Council is meeting tonight at the South Dakota Municipal League meeting room. The Council will get reports from city officials before moving on to the main agenda. A public hearing will be held for a temporary liquor license request filed by the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center for events in September. Approval of those license requests will be considered following the public hearings. The Council will get an update on the one-point-six million dollar E-D-A grant the city was awarded and will consider authorization to sign connected forms. The Council will consider a right-of-way closure permit for the Fort Pierre Fire Department, the surplus of two trucks, a pay application for wastewater improvements and will give an update on a proposed ambulance district.
