Pierre Post 8 begins its final stretch of the season as they first welcome in the Sturgis Titans for a doubleheader at Hyde Stadium.
Pierre is at home to close out the season with just six games left in the regular season before the playoffs begin. Heading into the matchup, the Eights are currently outside of a home playoff game but in the final games, stringing wins together could change all of it and the Eights could still find themselves at home for the Region Round which is scheduled for July 22-23.
Sturgis comes in 12-19 and are 2-14 in South Dakota Class A games after splitting a doubleheader with Spearfish on Monday. Sturgis is the only team on the outside looking in, trying to make the Region round next weekend.
The Eights and Titans have first pitch scheduled for 5:00 with coverage beginning at 4:45 on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
