Learn And Earn Program Students Create Donation Drive For Missouri Shores As Class Project

PIERRE — The Dakota Wesleyan University’s Learn and Earn program is behind a new effort to help Missouri Shores Domestic Violence Center as the holiday season approaches. Program Coordinator Jessica Carr says the donation drive is being spurred through the student’s class work…

The students are looking to collect the basic need items most used by Missouri Shores…

Collection boxes will are placed at 18 locations in Pierre/Fort Pierre and churches in Murdo, Presho, Draper. A full list of collection locations is located below. The collection effort goes until December 13th with a donation drive celebration Tuesday December 14th from five to seven PM at the Capital City Campus location on East Sioux Avenue.

SD Discovery Center, Faith Lutheran Church, Oahe Family YMCA, Beck Motors Company, St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, Andrea Royer Studio, Lutheran Memorial Church, The Alley Exchange, Peitz Service Experts, La Minestra, Brosz Engineering, Evermore Boutique, Rustic River Boutique and Décor, Fearless & Wonderfully Made Yoga & Wellness Center, BURN Infrared Fitness Studio, The Soccer Athlete, and First United Methodist Church. Other locations include Messiah Lutheran Church (Murdo), Zion Church (Presho), St. Paul’s Church (Draper), St. John’s Catholic Church (Ft. Pierre) and the Ft. Pierre Lynn’s Dakotamart, Capital City Campus.
