The Oahe Speedway announced on its Facebook page on Saturday, the cancelation of the 2021 season. They state because there was not an agreement reached on the lease, it resulted in the season being canceled.
The Speedway had the first sporting events of 2020 after the pandemic began in March. Its first events were over the Memorial Day Weekend but it was without fans. As the season went on, the Speedway would begin to open spectators to events.
Payments for sponsorships, pit sites, points series and other payments will be returned by May 15. If you have made a payment with the Oahe Racers Association and do not receive it by May 15, the Board of Directors asks you contact them by phone or email.
