BELVIDERE — Reconstruction work is underway on eastbound Interstate 90 near Belvidere in Jackson County. Complete Concrete Incorporated is working from Belvidere to 11 miles east of Belvidere. The project has a width restriction of 12-feet and no over-width or over-length loads will be allowed in the work zone during construction. A detour for over-width loads is set up on South Dakota Highway 248 from Exit 183 at Okaton to Exit 152 at Kadoka and South Dakota Highway 73 South. The restriction will be in place on I-90 through November 5th. Construction will mainly be on the eastbound side of the interstate; however two-way traffic has been set up on the westbound side. Travelers should be on the lookout for suddenly slowing traffic, reduced speeds and works and equipment near driving lanes.
