The Highmore-Harrold Pirates will be on the road tonight, but still a chance to reach the SoDak 16 with a win over the Faulkton Area Trojans tonight in the Region 6B SoDak 16 qualifying match.
It’s the second time the Trojans and Pirates are meeting this season and the Pirates are looking to flip the script. Faulkton won in four sets back on September 22 and in this decade, the Pirates have not beaten the Trojans. Faulkton is coming in after a sweep of Gettysburg on Tuesday while the Pirates had to battle for four sets against North Central to reach the SoDak 16 qualifying game. Highmore-Harrold is at 18-10 while Faulkton comes in at 19-11. With only three seniors, the Pirates are continuing to build the program and have increased its win total by at least two by the end of the season.
First serve from Faulkton tonight is scheduled for 7:00. The winner will advance to the SoDak 16 next Tuesday at a neutral site.
