The Pierre Governor football team will look to handle business tonight against the struggling and winless Brookings Bobcats at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings.
As usual, the Bobcats play at the home of the South Dakota State Jackrabbits and the Governors will play in the big stadium tonight where crowd size looks a little smaller than what would be at Hollister and can limit the atmosphere somewhat. Steve Steele head coach of the Pierre Governors says the guys need to bring the energy for themselves as its another chance to put the pads on and play football…
While Brookings is a team who has struggled this season, Steele says they are still a team that plays hard…
The Governors are 7-0 and the last two games are against teams with a combined one win, but that’s not stopping the Govs from being ready and prepared for each game. They still aren’t going to overlook an opponent. Steele says they need to read their keys on defense tonight…
Coverage tonight at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium begins at 6:30 with kickoff at 7:00 on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
