The Pierre Governor volleyball team will be back on the road tonight as the Governors take on the Brookings Bobcats still looking for the second win of the season with just seven games remaining in the year.
The Governors are coming in off a loss on Tuesday in three sets against the Huron Tigers, but have played three times since the Bobcats have last played. Brookings lost in four sets to Aberdeen Central on Monday, October 5 and have not played until tonight. Pierre has played Lennox, Brandon Valley and Huron all in the time span. The Bobcats are coming in at 8-13 and have lost six straight having been over .500 before the six straight losses. Brookings, though, sits in 13th place in the AA standings and will look to keep up the pace and try and move up the standings.
Coverage tonight begins around 6:00 with first serve scheduled for 6:30 on KCCR and on YouTube at KCCR Sports with Jon Winkler on the call.
