The brutal schedule for the Stanley County Buffaloes continues this week, but the Buffs are back at home and will be for the final two games of the season as Stanley County hosts Platte-Geddes tonight.
The Buffaloes will face another one or no loss team for the third time this season as the Buffaloes have already played Bennett County who is 5-1 and Parkston who is undefeated. Tonight, the Buffs face 5-1 Platte-Geddes who beat a good Kimball/White Lake team last Friday and the only loss for the Black Panthers is to Parkston. Max Foth, head coach of the Stanley County Buffaloes, says you can see why they are ranked second in the polls…
Stanley County is coming off its second win of the season with a 24-8 victory over Gregory on Friday to improve to 2-4 on the season and the Buffs will be back home for the final two games. The Buffalo defense was able to pitch a shutout against the Gorillas in the second half to pick up the win and Foth says it can build confidence and he was proud to see how hard to Buffs played…
Foth says they need a quick start again tonight…
Kickoff tonight is at 7:00 from Ole Williamson Field in Fort Pierre.
