The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would put up a fight against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers on Thursday on the road, but would fall in four sets 25-15, 24-26, 25-16 and 25-12.
It’s the first set taken against Mobridge-Pollock since at least 2021 for Stanley County who fought in the third set looking to take control of the match and lead the Tigers. However, the Tigers proved to be just a bit too much against Stanley County as the Lady Buffs fall to 5-12 on the season and the Tigers improve to 10-8 picking up the Region 6A contest.
Stanley County will get a rare Monday game coming up next week as the Buffs host the Lyman Raiders. First serve is scheduled for 7:45 at the Parkview Auditorium in Fort Pierre.
