Pierre’s only leads came in the third set, but Mitchell didn’t let the Govs have more than a three point lead at any point in the third. Charleigh Collins tied Tally with the nine kills as Mitchell outhit Pierre 30-11 in the match as the Govs had 23 hitting errors to the 11 kills. Ellie Olivier would lead the Govs with three kills while Hannah Eads and Faith Baumberger each had two. Addison Novotny had two block shot points for Pierre who are now 1-9 on the season while Mitchell improves to 5-8.
