The Pierre Governor tennis team will play in the ESD Tournament over the next two days in Sioux Falls with the state tournament happening next week Thursday.
Over the next two days, the Governors will battle against the ESD teams to close out the season before the state tournament. The Governors went 2-6 in ESD duals this season, although the Govs were nearly 4-5, losing two of those ESD contests by a 5-4 score. Pierre will look to win early on Monday to put themselves in a spot to claim high finishing individuals. Pierre finished at 7-11 on the season after winning both last week against Spearfish and St. Thomas More at home. All nine flights will be eligible to return without any seniors on the team.
