The final two undefeated teams in 11AA will meet tonight in Pierre as the Governors will host the Tea Area Titans on Homecoming night for the potential number one seed at the halfway point of the season.
Both teams are 4-0 and sit at 1 and 2 in the standings and both have been dominant in their wins including the Governors having the running clock in all four of their wins. Tea beat Sturgis by 24 last week and beat Watertown by seven the week prior. The Governors stomped Watertown by 41. However, it doesn’t mean the Governors are set to run through the Titans as Tea is battled tested with high quality wins over Huron, Watertown and Sturgis. Tea’s offense has been very balanced with over 900 yards rushing and over 750 yards passing averaging over 400 yards per game, similar to the Governors.
