The Stanley County Lady Buffaloes would fall to the Herried/Selby Area Wolverines in straight sets on Tuesday night with a 25-15, 25-9 and 25-21 score in Fort Pierre.
It’s the first of two home volleyball games this week over Homecoming for the Lady Buffs as Stanley County is trying to gather multiple wins over the next couple of weeks being at home. However, the first night didn’t go as planned as the Lady Buffs fall to 4-11 and couldn’t keep it close in the second set. Stanley County battled in set three and tried to keep it close in set one, but the Wolverines proved to be too powerful for the Lady Buffs in the loss. Herreid/Selby improves to 4-8 with the win.
Stanley County will welcome in Gettysburg on Thursday for its second straight home game over Homecoming week. First serve is scheduled for around 7:45 on Thursday.
