FORT PIERRE, (KCCR) — A busy agenda will come before the Fort Pierre City Council tonight. The Labor Day holiday is pushing the meeting to this evening from a normal Monday night gathering. City officials will give reports to the Council before moving on to the agenda. The Council will get an update on the sliding hill from Kalyn Bergeson with the Casey Tibbs South Dakota Rodeo Center and will consider approval of a mobile home court license and approval to purchase potable water circulating equipment. Council members will consider approval of pay applications for slurry seal road surfacing and projects at Ninth and Yellowstone and Benjamin Streets. Two personnel matters are on the agenda along with a resolution for a plat request for St. John the Evangelist Church and St. John’s Catholic Church. The Council will consider approval of a contract with I-S-G for professional services for the Bore Under the Bad River project and first reading will be given to the General Fund, Triple-B and Utility budget ordinance and the Utility rates ordinance. The Fort Pierre City Council meets tonight at six pm at South Dakota Municipal League meeting room.
