The Sully Buttes Chargers will be on the road tonight after the Labor Day weekend still looking for the first win as the Chargers travel up to Ipswich to face the Tigers.
The Tigers are coming in at 1-5 after its three set sweep loss to Waubay/Summit. The Tigers have just the one win against Wilmot, who they beat 2-0 at the Estelline tournament. The Chargers, at 0-5, have not played since last week Tuesday when they were swept by the Faulkton Area Trojans on the road. The Chargers have just one set win so far to open the season, but will be looking to knock off its Region 6B foe as the two teams are next to each other in the standings.
It’s also the start of a busy week for the Chargers who will face Winner at home on Thursday and then play at the Philip tournament this coming Saturday. In total, Sully Buttes will get five games this week, doubling the amount of games they’ve played to this point.
First serve is scheduled for around 7:15 tonight in Ipswich. Country 95.3’s next broadcast will be on Thursday when the Chargers host the Winner Warriors.
