PIERRE, (KCCR) — The Pierre City Commission approved an agreement with the Transportation Security Administration to resume reimbursement program for law enforcement protection at Pierre Regional Airport. Pierre Regional has been awarded over 38-thousand dollars for the reimbursement. Finance Officer Lacey Walz says the reimbursement has been taken into account with the city’s budgeting for next year.

The agreement is for a year, expiring in August of 2027.
