Commissioners also approved a contract amendment with H-D-R Engineering who helped plan the expansion of the landfill…
The new cell is already being put to work with large bales of garbage filling the bottom of the cell. The lifespan of the cell is approximately 13 years. The Pierre Regional Landfill accepts trash from as far away as Huron and Philip.
