The Wild Card series will go three games after the Casper Spuds would get a walk off wild pitch win over the Oahe Zap Tuesday night to win 7-6 and force a decisive game three.
The Zap came back from a four run deficit after trailing 6-2 through three innings. Cy Taylor had a two run double in the fifth and then singled home a run in the sixth to make it 6-5. Quinn Ludvigsen would tie the game with an RBI single in the seventh. The game remained tied until two outs in the bottom of the ninth with runners on first and third and a wild pitch would score Hunter Stonecipher to get the win for the Spuds. Connor Goldberg would have two doubles with three hits and drive in two runs for the Zap. Four of the 11 hits for the Spuds went for extra bases as they had two doubles and two triples as Addison Patton had three hits. Ryan Wingerd would take the loss on the mound with the unearned run given up in the ninth inning with three hits, four walks and two strikeouts. Ludvigsen would throw the first five innings allowing six runs on eight hits with three walks and four strikeouts.
The decisive game three is scheduled for tonight with first pitch at 7:30 Central Time in Casper. The winner will travel to Spearfish starting Friday for the Independence League Championship.
