The Oahe Zap would honor its longest tenured player in Brady Glenn who has spent five summers in Pierre as the Zap would get the win 4-3 over the Bison in the final home game of the season and Glenn picking up the save.
Glenn has played in every season with the Zap since its inception and also with the end of the Pierre Trappers. Before the game he was honored and his jersey being retired for being a long standing member of the Zap while playing well for Oahe. He would get the final three outs in the game earning the save giving up just one hit with a strikeout. After the Bison took a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, Oahe scored a run in the bottom of the second with a Dominic DeCarlo sacrifice fly. It wasn’t until the seventh when the Zap would get a three run inning to take the lead as Gavin Fraser and Cy Taylor each singled to tie the game at 3-3 before a two out RBI single from Connor Goldberg giving the Zap the lead. Goldberg also tripled in the game.
Oahe goes to 20-25 on the season and will wrap up the regular season this weekend with two games on the road against the Spearfish Sasquatch on Friday and Saturday. The Zap will have to go to Casper next week for the first round playoff series.
