PIERRE, (KCCR) — A woman and man from Pierre have been sentenced to long federal prison terms for distributing controlled substances. U-S Attorney Ron Parsons says 41 year-old Brandon Hitt and 41 year-old Luticia Falcon were indicted on two counts back in October of 2025. The pair was indicted for Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance and being a Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm. In March, Falcon pleaded guilty to the Conspiracy charge and was sentenced in mid-June to eight years and four months in federal prison with five years of supervised release. Hitt pleaded guilty to the Conspiracy and Firearms charge in mid-June. He was sentenced this week to 26 years and eight months in federal prison, also with five years of probation and a one-thousand dollar fine. Parsons says Hitt would source the drugs to individuals in Pierre and Rapid City while getting the drugs from Texas; getting up to five kilograms of methamphetamine per trip. Falcon would transport the drugs from Texas to South Dakota. Up to 45 kilograms of meth was involved. Five co-defendants will go to trial, pending any pleas, in November.
