Pierre Post 8 will be on the road for the first time this summer as the Eights take on the Brookings Bandits in a doubleheader tonight seeking its first win of the season.
After a couple of four run losses against the defending legion state champions, Harrisburg, Pierre will turn the attention to Brookings who has given the Eights fits over the last several years. During the high school season Brookings finished in 11th place in the standings and were swept in the best-of-three series to Stevens. Post 74 Bandits will play its first games of the season tonight opening up with Pierre. The Eights continue its tough stretch with the first 10 games against South Dakota opponents and all high quality opponents. Pierre will look for a better offensive output with just seven hits in the two games to start the season.
