The Spearfish Sasquatch would win game two of the series over the Oahe Zap on Tuesday with a 7-0 win giving up just three hits between the two pitchers taking the first two games of the series.
Spearfish would score a run in the first, second and third innings to lead 3-0 after three. A two run homer by Carter Towns made it 5-0 in the fifth and then adding a run in the sixth and eighth as four different Sasquatch would get an RBI in the win. Gavin Fraser had two of the three hits for the Zap while Mason Melton had the other hit. The Spearfish pitchers allowed just one walk so only four men reached base the entire game for Oahe as JJ Manuel gave up the three hits over five and two thirds innings while Colter Wilson got the final 10 outs with just one walk issued.
Oahe is now 1-4 and will face Spearfish in the series finale this afternoon with a 12:05 first pitch matinee.
